About The German LLC
I founded TheGerman LLC after quitting my corporate job which I had for the last 14 years, with the last position being a Director of Operational Excellence for a multi-billion company. I wanted to get back to my roots and do things I enjoy most - fixing everyday issues, improving living spaces  and work with my hands - rather than spending time on an airport. While born and raised in Germany, I moved and received US Citizenship 10+ years ago. Back in Germany, I became an Electrical Journeyman, installing 100s of houses and fixing even more appliances and other issues. After six years as a Journeyman,  I went back to school and a University to become a German Diploma Engineer (FH) in Mechatronics. I started to work for Johnson&Johnson in Hamburg, Germany as a Process Engineer before I switched to my last job. During all this time I've been doing many, many home improvements and fixings for myself, friends and family. I am living now for 15 years in the USA together with my amazing wife and our cats, enjoying our garden which attracts nearly anything a zoo can offer.
